Like many love stories these days, we met on Hinge. We like to think we would have found each other no matter what, though. As we later discovered, Noah’s aunt’s mom was my grandpa’s long-term partner. Unbeknownst to me, I spent childhood summer nights swimming and playing games with my future husband’s cousins. Don’t worry, we’re not related (though there was definitely a brief moment of panic when we first connected the dots). Backing up a bit: in May of 2023, Noah and I had our first date on the rooftop of the Hewing Hotel. What was supposed to be a quick drink turned into a six-hour date night, ending with Noah taking photos of me at the table. Who does that on a first date?! Fast forward about a year later and we bought our first home in Minneapolis, Noah became a dog dad, and we survived a kitchen remodel together. Then came June 7th, 2025. Noah woke up early (unheard of), skipped golf (even more unheard of), and asked if I wanted to go for a walk. How did I not realize what was happening? After our walk, he led me through our back gate where our families were waiting in the yard and proposed. We spent the rest of the day celebrating with a family brunch and soaking up every moment. We cannot wait to continue this story and celebrate with you all!
