We can't wait to party with everyone looking and feeling their most festive! For those attending the Welcome Dinner on Friday, dress code is casual. We'll be enjoying delicious BBQ then heading outside for a campfire, so want everyone to feel comfortable, but feel free to dress it up if that fits your fantasy (bride and groom will surely be overdressed). We'll be enjoying some delicious BBQ then heading out for a campfire, so suggest bringing layers as it can get a little chilly in the evening. For the wedding day, we're manifesting a beautiful spring day, so welcome your vibrant colors and florals! Cocktail or floor length dresses, dressy jumpsuits, suits or slacks and a sport coat are great. It's a large property, and there will be a bit of walking, so make sure your shoes are up for it (or feel free to bring a change).
While we adore our family and friends’ little ones, our wedding weekend will be an adults only event. We hope this means that parents can enjoy some time off and celebrate with us!
As part of your reservation, every guest will have breakfast and lunch included on Saturday, and breakfast included on Sunday. These meals will be buffet style, available in the barn. Please see the schedule for exact timing! If guests prefer to venture out, they are of course welcome to do so, but please note that the dining package will be included on the reservation regardless. Guests are also welcome to bring their own snacks and drinks to keep in their rooms.
Our venue is located out in the woods, which means great views, but no cell service. Complimentary wifi will be available to all guests, and landlines are available for any emergencies. We recommend you have directions input prior to heading to the venue, as service will drop off as you get closer.
On Saturday, we’ll have some lawn games set up for folks to enjoy (weather permitting). Full Moon also has hiking trails nearby, a 6 hole Frisbee golf course, and three large fields on the grounds. If you’re interested in taking advantage of these options, please feel free to bring your own gear with you! Woodstock is a great little town about 35 minutes away, so if you feel inclined for a trip off site, that’s a great place to explore.
Full Moon is a 100 acre property, and some accommodations are further than others. If you have any mobility issues, please make sure to let us know so we can make sure we’ve got you covered. Otherwise, we’ll ask that guests walk to the locations. The furthest accommodation is approximately 4 city blocks (about a 10 minute walk) from the main area where events will take place. You’ll have a better idea of where you are staying closer to the date so you can plan footwear accordingly!
The Catskills are gorgeous and well worth spending more than just a weekend, however Full Moon Resort will only be open for reservations from Friday to Sunday. If you are looking to extend your stay, we recommend exploring a nearby town like Woodstock, where there are plenty of options for Airbnbs.
There are a lot of different styles of accommodations, and we will do our best to make sure everyone is comfortable, but ask that guests come with an open mind, and allow us to assign rooms. Whether you’re in a stand alone cabin, sharing a hall bathroom, or in a cottage with multiple bedrooms, you’ll be with amazing people. We ask that you embrace this as a shared experience (adult summer camp vibes) and please save any complaining for a group text that we are not on. If you would prefer to secure your own accommodations off site, you are more than welcome to do so! Please let us know if you if this is your preference so we do not assign you a room at Full Moon.
