always and forever

We went to school together during our freshman year at Robert E. Lee, and then Logan moved to Van, and we lost touch. During spring break our senior year, Logan had a by-week from baseball and decided to watch his old teammates play. Everyone always goes to Whataburger after the sporting event, and a friend invited Logan to go. We sat at the same table, and he talked to the guys he used to play with. Once he left, they told Carly to text him, and when she looked down at her phone, he had already sent me a Snapchat. As Carly was about to go off to Lubbock, she tried to keep him at arm's distance, but that failed. We hung out before summer started, but Logan wouldn't date her till baseball season was over. On May 10th, 2022, he went to her house and surprised her with a plant and a card asking her to be his girlfriend. We spent all summer together before she headed off to college, and we started long-distance. Carly came home one weekend and Logan surprised her with a letter and flowers telling her he was going to propose so she needed to get a dress and shoes and he would see her later on November 2nd, 2024 we got engaged. We made it through long-distance in December of 2025 when she graduated and moved back to Tyler. We can't wait to be married and see what the future holds!!
