Question

WHERE SHOULD I STAY?

Answer

We have compiled a list of nearby Airbnb properties within walking distance or a few minute drive to the venue, see 'Travel/Accomodations' tab for full list -- these include luxury yurts, lakeside cabins, and tiny houses. We would not recommend a hotel stay due to proximity but if you are unable to book an Airbnb there is a Quality Inn in Andrew’s or many options in Bryson city (45 min away).

Can I bring a plus one?

Due to venue capacity limitations, we kindly ask that only those who are listed on the invitation attend, we appreciate your understanding.

IS THERE PARKING AVAILABLE AT THE VENUE?

Answer

Yes! The venue has around 50 parking spots. Ensure cars park perpendicular to Wayah road to maximize parking space. No cars are to be driving up to the reception pavilion unless discussed with bride & groom first (I.E. wedding party & family members.)

what will the weather be like?

Answer

Our ceremony and reception will both be outdoors in the woods and Nantahala NC has an average high of 80s and low of 60s in August. The wedding is rain or shine but the ceremony and reception area will be covered in the event of rain.

what is the attire?

Answer

The dress code is Semi-Formal. Ladies, please come in your favorite mid-length or long gown. For men, a suit and tie or button-down and slacks. Wedding party colors are sage green & tans, so we ask that you please try to avoid these colors while choosing your fit. :)

*Shuttle Service Details*

- if you need a ride to the ceremony, please provide us with your address & a head count by JULY 1ST. - If you and your group have more than one vehicle at your airbnb, we strongly encourage that you drive yourself to the venue. If you do this and leave a car overnight at the venue, pick it up BEFORE 11 AM on Sunday. If not, Logan & I will incur charges & will not be happy to start our first day as a married couple that way :) - Post Reception Shuttle: the shuttle will take you to your airbnb after the reception if needed, also let us know this by JULY 1ST. * IF WE DO NOT HEAR A RESPONSE FROM YOU, WE WILL ASSUME YOU DO NOT NEED A RIDE AND YOU WILL NOT HAVE ONE.*
