Where is the venue?

Answer

The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will be held at Historic London Town & Gardens in Edgewater, MD. Guests are welcome to explore the entire garden and lawn area during the cocktail hour and reception but the Visitor Center and William Brown House will be off limits. The ceremony and cocktail hour will be held outdoors (weather permitting) and the reception will take place in the covered tent. Guests are also welcome to access the pavilion, patio, deck, and covered deck at any time. In the event of inclement weather, all events will be held indoors.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

Please be seated at the venue no later than 3:45 pm. If the event is held indoors due to inclement weather and you require seating, please arrive early. The ceremony will begin promptly at 4:00 pm.

Is there parking?

Answer

Parking is restricted to the designated areas only. There are 125 parking spaces. Cars can be left overnight after the reception if needed but will not be retrievable until the property opens on the next business day.

Are there accessibility restrictions?

The venue is wheelchair accessible and the gravel parking lot provides handicap spaces.

What is the dress code?

Semi-formal attire. Please no jeans and ladies - no white!

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We ask that there are no pictures taken during the ceremony and that all phones remain on silent. After the ceremony ends, feel free to take any pictures you like throughout the night. We’ll also have a photo booth available to all guests. We can’t wait to see the moments that everyone captures!
