Flight

Charleston International Airport

If you are flying to our wedding we recommend flying into Charleston International Airport (CHS). From here you can either rent a car, order a ride-share pickup (Uber) or reserve a car service (see note below) to drive you out to Kiawah. The drive is about 45 minutes. Please note, Ubers are typically not available on the island, so we recommend using the shuttle (refer to FAQ for more details) or renting a car for the weekend.

Charleston International Airport to Kiawah Island

Having a rental car may be beneficial depending on what activities you plan to do. There are plenty of rental options available at the airport including Alamo, Avis, Budget, Dollar, Enterprise, Hertz, National, and Thrifty. If not renting a car, the best way to travel to and from CHS and Kiawah Island will be to book a car service in advance of your stay. Kiawah Island Golf Resort

The Island is mostly comprised of homes and villas for guests to rent of all sizes. These rentals include access to island amenities. Discount code is 2130 or Cone-Bommer wedding for 20% off nightly rates. If using the online system, please add the code in the notes section for the Reservations team to approve your discounted rate. The Sanctuary at Kiawah Island Golf Resort
