Punta Cana airport is about 1 hour from La Romana. Santo Domingo airport is about 2 hours from La Romana.

We suggest arriving in Punta Cana and taking a bus or taxi from the airport to your hotel. A bus will be about US$4 and a taxi ride will be about US$60-70. Punta Cana is about an hour from La Romana. Carly may also be able to retrieve guests from the airport in car, but please contact her to confirm your arrival time.

Carly & Jose are recommending that guests stay in Hotel Silvestre in La Romana. The Hotel is about US$100 per night. Carly is in contact with the reception. Please text her if you would like to reserve a room for the wedding. Carly will be at this hotel from Wednesday, January 26 to Monday, January 31, if you need any assistance. This hotel is not on the beach, but is only 10 minutes from the wedding venue. There is free breakfast, a restaurant and bar, hot water, pool, and internet. REMINDER: PLEASE CONTACT CARLY AS SOON AS POSSIBLE TO RESERVE YOUR ROOM AT HOTEL SILVESTRE. As of now, I do not recommend making a reservation online.

If guests would like to stay in the more touristy area of Bayahibe, please factor in a taxi ride to and from the hotel to the wedding venue. Bayahibe is about 40 minutes from Playa Caleta.
