We highly recommend you consider nearby Aribnb rentals for your stay during the wedding weekend. The Venue is located in Spring Branch, TX which is part of the San Antonio Hill Country. We love this area and the Airbnb experiences we have had in the area have been amazing! Airports/Car Rental

For those of you traveling from afar one of the great things about Texas is we have quite a few major airports to consider for your travel. For best pricing we recommend you broaden your search and check for flight deals at any of the following airports. -San Antonio International Airport, San Antonio, TX (this is the closest airport to the venue) -Austin-Bergstrom International Airport, Austin, TX (this is the second closest airport to the venue/San Antonio area) -Houston George Bush IAH and Houston Hobby Airport (this is our next recommendation but we are a bit biased on these being from Houston HA!) (Houston is about 3.5 hours from the venue area) -Dallas/Ft. Worth (DFW) International and Dallas Love Field Airport (Dallas is about 4 hours from the venue area) With that said Texas is huge as all of you know and our public transportation has room for improvement to say the least lol so we highly recommend for those of you traveling by plane you consider a car rental. Uber/Lyft are also available in the San Antonio area for your consideration. For car rentals we usually use Orbitz or Expedia to find the best deals.

Things to Do!

Here’s some of our favorite activities/places to consider visiting, enjoy! San Antonio, TX: -The Pearl is a cool area with shops, restaurants, bars, and even a haunted hotel. They also host a farmers market on the weekends. -The River Walk has great attractions with what feels like endless bars and restaurant options. You can also consider taking a River boat tour or city bus tour! -The Historic Alamo, only a short walk from the River Walk is a must for first time visitors -Looking to stay out late? We love going to Howl at the Moon for some drinks and fun dueling pianos/live music -Eat/Drink/Shop at the Historic El Mercado, it is full of color and flavor you won't want to miss -The Zoo, Six Flags Fiesta Texas, and Seaworld are always another good adventure to consider. Please be sure to check their website for hours and days of operation Bulverde, TX: -Guadalupe River State Park is one of our favorite parks. It will likely be a bit too cold to swim in February but the park has some awesome trails to explore by foot or bike -Natural Bridge Caverns, they have awesome caverns to explore along with other activities like zip lining -Screaming Goat Yard & Tap and Tree Haus Tavern are fun bars/restaurants -On the Grind, The Loft Coffee House, or Hatch Cafe & Bakery are yummy spots for coffee/bakeries Wimberley/Canyon Lake/Boerne/New Braunfels: -Wimberley has some of our favorite wineries and distilleries we highly recommend. You can also find some unique shops, coffee shops, and restaurants near the rustic old town -Canyon Lake is our favorite place when we want to get away from the big city hustle and bustle and be near the water, lots of friendly deer, and quiet nights full of stars -Boerne is just as unique as the others we recommended with a really awesome nature preserve (Cibolo Nature Center) we highly recommend (this is where we did our engagement pictures) -New Braunfels also has cool shops, restaurants, and hike/bike trails/parks to explore as well
