If there is one thing to know about us, it is our love for music. It should come to no surprise that a song would bring us together. Coincidence or not, with Carly's love for all things Disney and John's knack for being goofy, our first conversation was prompted by "A Goofy Movie" reference on her Hinge profile. What really sealed the deal, was our first date. We met for coffee at Riptides in Long Beach and spent the entire afternoon walking the boardwalk. We were lost in conversation, discussing everything from music to movies, our families and careers along with our future goals & aspirations. After two long laps on the boardwalk, we agreed to continue seeing each other, not sure where this would lead. Carly & John ended up spending every week afterward together. They both knew this was developing into something special... Lo and behold, four years later, it would be on the same boardwalk, at the same seaside bench, where we met "eye to eye." Carly would say "Yes" when John asked her to marry him. And the rest is history....
