Question

Where and when is the wedding taking place?

Answer

We are having a destination wedding at Pueblo Bonito, Pacifica in Cabo San Lucas! The ceremony date is November 11, 2023.

Question

What will the weather be like this time of year?

Answer

While we cannot control the weather, it is typically sunny and dry, with an average high of 83°F and an average low of 65°F in Cabo in November.

Question

Does the resort offer transportation to and from the airport?

Answer

Pueblo Bonito partners with Cabo Travel Solutions and Bonita Travel to provide transport to and from the airport. You can book one way or round-trip service on the online transportation page. (See the travel tab for the website.) Please note that this does cost a small fee. Los Cabos Airport (SJD) requires transportation to be reserved at least 24 hours prior to the arrival!

What should I wear to the ceremony? Is there a dress code?

Answer

The dress code for our wedding is dressy casual attire. Please take into account that the ceremony will be held on the beach. For ladies, a dress, semi-formal romper, or jumpsuit is acceptable. Dress length can be short, tea-length, or maxi. Feel free to include prints, avoiding anything too loud. Dressy sandals, chunky heels, and wedges are acceptable footwear options. For men, button up shirts that are either long or short sleeve with linen pants are acceptable. A jacket or blazer is not required. Feel free to include prints, avoiding anything too loud. Shoes should be closed-toe, such as a loafer or boat shoes. Shorts and flip flops are not permitted. Colors to avoid: white, cream, black, and brown (bc Jack thinks it's ugly)

Is there a hotel block for guests?

Answer

Yes! The code for the hotel block and the discount is: VANDAM23. The resort room block will be from Wednesday, November 8, 2023 to Monday, November 13, 2023. You are more than welcome to stay for the full or partial amount of time. There will be wedding events throughout our time at the resort. Please see the schedule tab for details.

Can I stay at another resort?

Answer

While we appreciate that other accommodations may be enticing, we do ask that you stay with us at Pueblo Bonito Pacifica as there is a significant discount on room rates for our guests and it will be much easier to coordinate other wedding events. It's also an all inclusive resort!

Where are the ceremony and reception taking place? Is it outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will be held on the beach which will be a short walk from the resort. The reception will be held on the resort site terrace. Both will be outdoors.

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

We recommend that you arrive at least 30 minutes before the start of the ceremony, to make sure everyone is on time and we can get the party started as scheduled!

Are phones allowed at the ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that you turn off your phone for the duration of the ceremony. We would like to limit distractions and have our guests be as present as possible.

Can I take and post pictures of the wedding on social media?

Answer

We would like to have priority to posting pictures and video of the ceremony on social platforms. That said, when it comes to the reception, it is a party, so feel free to take and post pictures/videos!

What happens after the ceremony?

Answer

After the ceremony, the bridal party will be taking pictures nearby for around an hour. Guests can head straight to the reception site where there will be a cocktail hour with finger foods and beverages.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones, Pueblo Bonito Pacifica is an 18+ resort. Our wedding is going to be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have a strict guest list to stay on budget. Our wedding is strictly RSVP only. We will only able to accommodate those listed on your invitation.

When is the RSVP deadline?

What should I do if I can't make it?

Answer

You will be missed! If you can not make it to the wedding, please let us know as soon as possible and RSVP “no,” so we can plan accordingly.
