God led both Carly and Gavin to work at The Wilds’ of New England in the summer of 2023, and the rest is history. Go Blue!

Gavin intended to propose to Carly at the same gazebo where Carly’s parents got engaged. When they got to the park where the gazebo was located, it was too crowded. Turns out, it wasn’t even the right gazebo lol. The next option in Gavin's mind was Chandor gardens, as it was nearby. Gavin pretended that he missed a turn while driving and then pretended like he didn’t know what the gardens were. There wasn’t a nice looking spot to propose though. Strike 2! So then they went to the Lake Weatherford Boardwalk (a spot Chloe, Carly's sister, had recommended), and then Gavin finally found a spot where there was no one nearby and it looked nice. So then he set up his personal and work phone to take videos, telling Carly that he wanted to see the quality difference, and then proposed. She was quite surprised!
