Chase LeMay

Best Man

Almost every memory from growing up has involved Chase. From middle school until college, we would play endless hours of Call of Duty zombies, ride our bikes and longboards during the summer, and take late night car rides that rarely had a destination. I remember going to his house, and his dog Beckham always running to the door with his favorite frisbee as Chase and I would play with him in the backyard for hours. Since we graduated college, Chase has moved out west in Los Alamos, New Mexico to pursue his career. However, we have managed to maintain our close friendship through phone calls with life updates, and late night video game sessions. I’m not sure where I’d be in my life without Chase around, but our brotherhood is something I will cherish forever.

Ronnie Oldham

Best Man

Over the last several years, Ron and I have grown incredibly close. Being from the school the next town over, we always knew each other in high school through sports. Ron was often trying to rile me up from the other end of the basketball court or the baseball field. But if you know Ron as well as I do, if he’s busting your chops, it means he likes you. Since high school, we’ve been able to pick each other up in difficult times, while also celebrating the big moments in each other’s lives. We’ve also created some crazy memories together that we’ll reminisce about when we’re older. Ron has also blessed me with the honor of being the Godfather of his first born son, Leo. Our friendship is one I never knew I needed in my life, and for that I am always grateful.

Brittany Marinelli

Matron of Honor

Brittany and I grew very close in middle school. Believe it or not, we actually despised each other before that. However, one day we were persuaded by our friend Megan to just get together and see what happens… And would you look at that? If I were to look back and tell you Brittany and I would be best friends in the future, I’d tell you you were lying. However, Britt has been my absolute ride-or-die. Through middle school and high school alone, we shared so many amazing memories filled with laughter that I swear my cheeks could’ve fallen off from smiling too much. From our middle school DC trip to our high school softball experiences, I wouldn’t want to experience that part of my life with anyone else. Following high school, we shared memories in California and South Carolina as well. Again, memories I’ll never forget. I’m so blessed to continue experiencing life with Brittany and to now have the opportunity to share our experiences with our significant others (and Byrson of course!).

Megan Ross

Matron of Honor

Megan and I have been friends since we were in strollers, and I’m not kidding! Our parents would take us to the same daycare everyday where we grew up together. From daycare all the way up to middle school, we grew up side-by-side. Megan often invited me to her grandparents house in Maine and we spent most of our time beforehand shopping for outfits at Limited-Too. We had to make sure we were twinning everywhere we went. When we weren’t in Maine, we were simply at Megan's house where there were unlimited things to do. Swimming, hot tub, camping in the backyard, playing in the play room, or just hanging out at the cul-de-sac because that was the coolest place to be at the time. As we’ve grown older, we have found ourselves in different places. However, no matter where we are in life or what obstacles we face, we're still there for one another. I'm so thankful to have this girl in my life!

Anthony Schittino

Groomsman

Tony is a friend I can always crack the dumbest jokes with. I’m serious, some of them would make everyone else’s eyes roll, but have Tony and I close to passing out from laughter. We’ve known each other since we were little kids. We played on the same little league teams, our parents were close friends, and we had the same church class on Monday nights. We worked the same job at Cafe Allegre bussing tables together. When I took a year off from school, I felt like my life was unraveling. But those shifts with Tony made me forget about all that baggage for a few hours. Tony and I still find ourselves wheezing over the same stupid jokes to this day, and I wouldn’t have our friendship any other way.

James Neri

Groomsman

If I had to look back, I think I spent the most time on the baseball field with Jimmy. As long as I can remember, we were always on the same teams growing up. In high school, we were always throwing partners during pregame warm ups. Some of our best memories together were at our baseball tournaments in Long Island and Delaware. Jimmy’s place was always the sleepover house growing up. I remember the nights playing wiffleball games in his backyard, ending with everyone watching movies, or playing Super Smash Bros. in his basement. Jimmy and I still talk almost every other day. I can’t wait to share our baseball stories with our kids one day.

Joe Digianni

Groomsman

I’ve known Joe since all the way back to Cub Scouts when we were only 9 years old. The older we got, the closer we got as friends. After my freshman year in Charlotte, I made the decision to come back to Connecticut to finish college. I was navigating a difficult stage in my life, and Joe was someone I could confide in. He helped me find my footing again when I came back home. We spent nearly every night hanging out after work, he was practically my roommate at the time. At the drop of a dime, Joe will always be there to help you with no questions asked. I am proud beyond words to call him one of my closest buddies, a friendship I will always hold close to my heart.

John Mormile

Groomsman

John and I’s friendship came out of left field, almost literally. We became friends our senior year of high school. We were following each other’s baseball seasons as the games went along. He congratulated me after a tough win, and we traded some baseball stories. Our friendship took off in college, as some of my craziest memories are with John by my side. John is easily the life of the party, making sure everyone is always having the best time. Social lives aside, we’ve shared deep conversations regarding similar life issues we’ve gone through. He is someone I know will always have my back no matter what.

Matthew Ruzbasan

Groomsman

Matt is my soon to be brother-in-law. I’ve always appreciated how kind and talkative Matt has been to me. Ever since I first met him, Matt has always been open and welcoming to me whenever I came to the house. I feel blessed knowing that he has trusted me with Carly’s heart, and to always protect her. As an older brother myself, I know how hard it is to be protective of your little sister, while also making sure she’s happy in life. I understand how special it is to have this relationship with him and it is a part of my life I will always be grateful for.

Courtney Oldham

Bridesmaid

Courtney and I met through our significant others, Evan and Ronnie. One day we all got together and have just hit it off ever since. Whether it’s going to a yankees game or simply grabbing a bite to eat, we always have a great time together. Courtney and Ronnie have since welcomed a beautiful baby boy into this world named Leo. When Courtney and Ronnie asked Evan to be Leo’s godfather, I instantly felt like we were all family. Now when we get together, we have Leo to join us who is an absolute blessing. I get so excited to spend time with them and I know I can always count on them. Love you guys!

Jessica Karwowski

Bridesmaid

Jess and I met when I started working in the NICU at THOCC. However, our friendship really took off when I started working the night shift after orientation. Just a few nights working together and I thought, this girl is awesome. Starting a new shift with new people is always nerve racking, but Jess truly made it so much better. She has a way of radiating positivity to others. Through any given situation, she finds a way to make it fun and easy. On slow nights or crazy ones, we often find ourselves cracking jokes or helping one another to keep the night moving smoothly. She has taught me so much working in the NICU and I’m thankful to have her as a coworker. People say, you don't go to work to make friends. But the friends I've made in the NICU have really made it a lot easier.

Kathryn Barillaro

Bridesmaid

Kathryn is my soon to be sister-in-law. Despite her being Evan’s little sister, she’s someone I’m so happy to have met and have in my life. I remember when I was first introduced to Kathryn, I was so nervous I wouldn’t be accepted. Being the new girlfriend is always very nerve-racking. However, before I even met her, Evan was getting texts that she couldn’t wait to meet me. Fast forward to the actual introduction, I can’t say I’ve ever felt so welcomed into a family. I’d spend almost every night at their house and we’d eat dinner and watch different shows together. And every time we were doing that, the jokes and laughter never stopped! Long island trips, Christmas tree shopping experiences, and Thanksgiving dinners are hands-down always a blast when Kathryn's there. I can’t wait to have her as my sister!

Samantha Zordan

Bridesmaid

Sam and I met in high school and our friendship really took off when we started playing volleyball. Sophomore year, Sam and I were the youngest girls on the varsity team so we really bonded sharing that experience. Through high school, we became really close. We’d spend time on the court and off the court, going to Rhode Island or school dances, it was never a dull moment with her. Come senior year, we were both honored as captains of the volleyball team. We played in many championship games together and were each given awards. Following high school, we’d still find time to get together and go out. Now, our fiancés are even good friends so I’m thankful to say our friend group has expanded!
