Doe Lake Campground is a private site centered around a classic 1930s Civilian Conservation Corps dining hall that has been historically restored. Carly and Christian have enjoyed camping in Ocala National Forest for several years, particularly to ring in the New Year. After discovering Doe Lake Campground, they knew it was meant to be to tie the knot here!
We have a room block set aside at Hampton Inn & Suites. Please see the travel section for more details.
Yes, a charter bus will be provided to and from the Hampton Inn and ceremony/reception. You are free to use your own vehicle, as well. Be aware that there are no street lights in and around the area so we advise using our transportation if you do not feel comfortable driving at night.

While we love your little ones, due to limited seating this will be an adults-only celebration. However, children 12 and up are welcome to join us. We appreciate your understanding and look forward to celebrating with you!
The weather in Central Florida during February can often be unpredictable. Typically it will reach the low 70's during the day and 40's at night. We will have bonfires and patio heaters throughout the site. A jacket for the evening is recommended.
If you are using our transportation, the bus will be picking everyone up from the Hampton Inn at 3pm. If you are driving to the ceremony yourself, we recommend planning for an arrival time of 4pm as the roads leading to the venue are somewhat rough terrain.
The dress code is cocktail attire. For the ladies, we recommend wearing block heels, wedges, or flats as the ceremony space is not paved. We also advise on a jacket in the evening - or a coat for the Floridians ;)
