Question

Can I take pictures and videos during the ceremony?

Answer

We want you to be in the moment with us instead of trying to make sure you get the perfect shot. Please turn off your cellphones and stash your cameras. We promise our photographer and videographer are the best in the business, and we will be sure to share everything that they have captured with you!

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We have addressed the invitations to the people we would love to come to our special day. Due to the limited space we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation.

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore you children, our event is adults-only. If you have any questions, please call or text Chad or Carly.

Are there any other events that I should know about around the wedding?

Answer

Yes! Friday evening (September 1, 2023) we are inviting to the Covered Bridge at Hopkins Heartland (same place as our wedding venue) for drinks and desserts from 7-10pm.

Do I need to RSVP?

Answer

Whether you can attend or not, we ask that you please RSVP.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we have a few hotel blocks (check the Travel tab). Since our event is on a holiday weekend, we recommend making housing accommodations far in advance. Air BnB and VRBO are also great options for the Lewes area.

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

Yes, we will have some gluten-free options due to known allergies of guests, but please reach out as soon as possible if you have need special menu accommodations.

Is the event outdoors?

Answer

Our ceremony may be held outside, as well as cocktail hour, however, the reception will be indoors. This is subject to change (weather permitting).

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, the ceremony and reception are at the same location and there is parking on site. You are able to use a ride-sharing service such as Lyft and Uber or you can feel free to use your personal vehicle. You are able to leave your vehicle on site overnight.
