Our love story began at a mixer in college. Carly expected to know everyone in the room, and when someone appeared who she wasn't familiar with, she was... less than friendly. A mutual friend assured Carly that Avery was "good people," and with that glowing review, a tentative friendship began. A month and a couple of Facebook messages later, Carly invited Avery to her Passover seder, and a month after that, Avery was Carly's date to her sorority formal. She was so sure about him that she posted a picture of the two of them to her Instagram that evening. So much for playing it cool... That was eight (almost nine!) years ago, and it's been love ever since.
