Can I bring a plus one or children?

Answer

Due to the venue’s capacity limitations, we can only accommodate guests listed on the invitation. All names of those invited will appear in the RSVP form. Please do not arrive with additional guests that are not listed on the RSVP form, as we have reached the venue’s maximum capacity and cannot accommodate extras. Please contact the bride and groom with any questions.

What is the dress code?

Answer

Cocktail / Semi-Formal. Dresses for women and optional tie or suit jacket for men. No shorts or jeans.

What dates should I book the hotel?

Answer

Make sure you're here from Friday February 13th to Sunday February 15th — that's essential. Although we suggest arriving earlier or staying later because this place is gorgeous! You won't want to miss out on exploring - and hey - Monday, February 16th is a holiday for some, so you might as well stick around if you can! If you’d like to book longer with The Luminary discount, just call the hotel or email Raisa at RMcQueen@mainsailhotels.com to keep the same rate!

Is transportation provided?

Answer

Transportation via bus will be provided to and from The Luminary Hotel. Pick-up from The Luminary will be at 2:00 PM - don't be that guy Return from the venue: • 9:15 PM Parking at the venue is very limited. If you would like to drive, please reach out to the bride or groom for approval to ensure we have enough space reserved for vendors. We recommend utilizing the provided transportation for ease and convenience. While we’ve taken care of the cost of transportation, feel free to show the drivers some extra love for getting you there safely!

Can I take photos and videos during the ceremony?

We kindly ask that you do not have your phones or cameras out during the ceremony. Our photographer will be working hard to capture every moment of our special day, and we do not want any phones or cameras in the photos! Sorry, grandmas. After the ceremony, go crazy.

Where can I park?

The Luminary Hotel: Valet parking is $28/night and self-park is $20/night located at 1451 Monroe St, Fort Myers, Fl 33901 across the street

What's the deal with this Ft. Myers place anyway?

Answer

Ft. Myers is Florida's 32nd largest city by population. While it may look big on a map, it's a calm and peaceful area with sweeping views of Florida's suncoast- home to many retirees and snowbirds. February is the busiest month of the year here- enjoy it! If you're looking for something else to do while you're here, the 88th Annual Festival of Lights will take place this weekend downtown. The grand parade is February 15th at 7pm, but there will be events all weekend long. Ft. Myers Beach is also nearby.

Can I stay in a different hotel than listed?

We do not recommend staying at another hotel as transportation will not be provided.
