Kuhn Wedding

Taking one last leap of faith, we both created a Tinder account. After swiping left, we got the notification that we matched each other. Shortly after that came the first "hey". We talked for awhile through the Tinder app, which killed our batteries, before giving out phone numbers to each other. With the first few texts, we were both up front and honest about what we wanted and were looking for. A simple friendship. Late night and early morning texts developed trust, which formed our friendship. Soon enough, a few weeks had passed before we decided to finally meet. The Shamrock Brewing Company in downtown Pueblo. A 6:00pm dinner date, turned into about an 8 hour conversation while overlooking Liberty Point and Lake Pueblo. The past, the present, and our plans for the future. Nothing was off limits and no detail was spared. March 27, 2017. The day that changed it all.

The family had come together for an Easter egg hunter at City Park. Terran, Addy and Haven had finished collecting their eggs and we were deciding what to do next. Addy is a very crafty little girl, so when she came up and handed both of us an Easter egg and said, "I got you an egg!" We didn't think much else of it. Very quickly, she said "you have to open them now!". We looked at each other, smiled, and opened them. In the bottom of my egg, buried in paper grass, there was a ring. Thankfully Adam's mom was right behind me to reassure it was real (I thought it was a joke). Naturally, I started ugly crying - like Kim Kardashian ugly cry, but worse! Adam asked if I was really going to make him get down on one knee. To myself I'm still halfway thinking this is all a joke, so I told him yes, knowing if he did it in fact was not a joke and he was being very serious. Right away he dropped down to one knee and asked, "Will you marry me?". Safe to say we all know what my answer was! ❤
