Highlands
Highlands features the home of our first date-Seafarer! A chill waterfront bar overlooking the Sandy Hook Bay, perfect for a relaxing drink, live music and foot truck eats. We frequent Highlands for other fan favorites such as Proving Ground, Bahrs, and the Chubby Pickle. While you're in the area, next door you'll find Atlantic Highlands where you can stop at Carton, one of our favorite breweries.
Red Bank
Stroll along the pedestrian only boardwalk on Broad Street where you'll find a lovely mix of shops and restaurants. Front Street offers riverfront dining at favorites like Boondocks and 26 West. You'll find breweries, theatres and antique shops along the side streets, too. Need to relax post wedding? Visit Open Heart Yoga for a complimentary yoga class!
Sea Bright
Eventide in Sea Bright is home to "Knot Guilty" and some of the best sunsets in Monmouth County. If you're looking for a pre wedding beach day, Sea Bright Public Beach is a great option. Everything you need for a day in the sun and waves can be found on Ocean Ave, including surf shops, ice cream, beach sandos, and Donovan's if a rum bucket and live music are calling your name.
Asbury Park
A bit further south, Asbury is home to the legendary Stone Pony and some of the liveliest bars in the area. Asbury Park Beach is another great option for a beach day, where you can also take a stroll along the boardwalk. Be sure to check out Watermark or Asbury Hotel for beautiful rooftop happy hours, or for a more upbeat vibe, visit Asbury Ale House, Johnny Macs, or Low Dive. The food scene in Asbury is as diverse as it is delish- our favorites include Talula's, Cross & Orange, and Taka.
