Covid-19 Updates

Coronavirus can’t stop LOVE

To our dearest friends & family, We are excited to be able to continue with our wedding on the original date. The venue & I are watching closely as things are changing day-to-day. We have flexibility with both the ceremony & reception being held outdoors. Our venue is confident in hosting our wedding this summer and we will be taking precautions for everyone’s safety. I apologize our invites went out later as we were kind of playing the waiting game with this situation. If we could have you please RSVP to both the wedding ceremony & the reception (dinner & dance following) as soon as possible that would be wonderful. We want to express our level of respect and understanding to those who do not feel they are able to be with us on our big day. We completely understand if you do not want to come to ceremony & reception or one or the other due to concerns with Covid. Please reach out to me if you have any questions or concerns - 715.307.5550. All of our love, Future Mr. & Mrs. Carlstrom

Our Love Story

Nate and I met in high school, but we didn’t really like each other. In fact, he used to pick on me all the time - he claims that he liked me then. I definitely didn't want to admit that it worked on me but here we are. (I’m sorry that’s a horrible lesson.) After graduating High School, we met at one of his infamous house parties at the old farm house (I miss that place). I wasn’t looking for a relationship, but fate had a different plan that night. Obviously life does not always go as planned! The moment he smiled at me, my heart melted and the butterflies in my stomach went crazy! That smile sure stole my heart! Soon after, we had our first date at Olive Garden. A few months later on March 7th 2013 we went out to Bo’s N Mine for dinner in good ol' River Falls WI where he officially asked me to be his girlfriend. Fast forward 7 years Nate planned a secret proposal on my 26th birthday. We booked a party bus for my birthday celebration, invited close friends, and went out for a night on the town. While getting our groove on and the bus was in-motion, he stopped the music and got down on one knee. I was so shocked I started backing away and my friends had to push me forward before I came out of shock and said “Yes!” with all my heart on October 26th, 2019. Nate and I are solid proof that opposites attract. Nate is a planner, and I am a go with the flow gal. Nate is an introvert and I am a social butterfly. We're so far from perfect but so perfect for one another - we complete each other! I never dreamed a city girl like me would fall for a farm boy Wisconsinite like Nate, but, we do, and always will love each other. I would not have it any other way! :) So please join us to complete our love story on August 8th, 2020. Love, Jacquelyn & Nathaniel
