A lively waterfront area with restaurants, boutiques, and great views. On Friday nights, there is a free Night Market including artisan vendors, live music, and a beer garden starting at 3pm. For our town of town guests, you can check out the Night Market at 3pm before heading up to our Welcome Drinks (10 min walk) at North Point Brewing Co.
Enjoy the scenic Skyride to the top of Grouse Mountain or challenge yourself on the infamous Ground Grind. Once at the Peak, guests can visit the resident grizzly bears at the Wildlife Refuge, watch the lumberjack show, or explore the hiking trails. Grouse Mountain is a 15 minute drive or 25 minute bus (from Lonsdale Quay, every 30 minutes) from Lower Lonsdale. Buying your tickets online and in advance is strongly recommended. If completing the Grouse Grind, you will still require a Download Ticket as the Grouse Grind is a 1-way trail.
Cross the 137-meter-long Suspension Bridge, walk through a rainforest canopy on the Treetops Adventure, and experience the canyon with the Cliffwalk. Capilano Suspension Bridge Park is a 10 minute drive or 20 minute bus (from Lonsdale Quay, every 30 minutes) from Lower Lonsdale. Buying your tickets online and in advance is required.
Lynn Canyon Park offers a multitude of hiking trails to waterfalls, a 30-Foot Pool, and a free suspension bridge. Be sure to stop at the End of Line cafe for a coffee and treat. Lynn Canyon Park is a 15 minute drive or 20 minute bus (from Lonsdale Quay, every 30 minutes) from Lower Lonsdale.
This waterfront village has beautiful beaches, hiking trails (Quarry Rock), and kayaking/paddle boarding. Be sure to check out Honey's Doughnuts for their infamous maple-dipped doughnut! Deep Cove is a 20 minute drive or 40 minute bus (from Lonsdale Quay, must transfer to a second bus at Phibbs Exchange) from Lower Lonsdale. Reservations are required for kayak and paddle board rentals.
Downtown Vancouver offers plenty to explore, from walking or biking the Stanley Park Seawall to shopping on Robson Street and wandering through Gaston to see the Steam Clock. Guests can also take an additional train and ferry (once downtown) to access Granville Island for markets, dining, and art studios.
