Travel Note
For those flying in first and foremost for the wedding, we recommend booking your flights into Francisco Sá Carneiro Airport (OPO), located just outside of Porto. Of course, if you're planning to arrive early and explore more of Portugal, feel free to fly into whichever airport best suits your travel plans. Regardless of your itinerary, we suggest arriving 2–3 days before the wedding, if possible—not only to adjust to the time difference, but also to take in the beauty and charm of this incredible country.
Travel Note
Our wedding ceremony will be held at Mosteiro de São Salvador de Vairão, located at Rua do Mosteiro, 4485-674 Vairão, Vila do Conde, Portugal. This will be an indoor ceremony in a Catholic church. Please plan to arrive early to allow plenty of time to find seating before the ceremony begins. We can't wait to share this special moment with you!
Travel Note
Following the ceremony at the church, please join us for our cocktail hour and reception at Rua de Crasto, 500, 4485-684, Vairão, Vila do Conde, Portugal. We’ll kick things off with a two-hour outdoor cocktail hour, followed by dinner and dancing inside. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Travel Note
We recommend using Uber or Lyft when traveling during your stay. They tend to be more affordable than local taxis and are much easier for coordinating pick-up and drop-off locations—especially if you're worried about a language barrier (trust us, we've been there... but that's a story for another time 😉). These apps work well in Portugal and will help make your trip smoother!
Travel Note
We’ve listed three nearby hotel options for your convenience, but guests are absolutely welcome to stay wherever they’d like—whether that’s another hotel, an Airbnb, or a Vrbo. Since these accommodations are optional, we have not reserved any room blocks or secured any special booking codes at this time. If anything changes, we’ll be sure to update the website and notify guests!
