Have we not given you enough alcohol this weekend?? To see the whole city without needing to move an inch, check out one of downtown Charleston’s many rooftop bars, such as the Citrus Club, Pavilion Club, and the Watch Rooftop.
Folly Beach
This beach has everything: clear blue water, seafood restaurants, and no fewer than 17 stores where you can buy a tiny license plate with your name on it!
Historic Charleston City Market
If you’re more of a local-artisan shopper than a mini-license-plate-with-your-name-on-it shopper (sorry, Folly Beach), check out Charleston’s historic artisan market downtown.
King Street
Get your shopping done on downtown Charleston’s famous stretch of stores, galleries, and restaurants. Yes, the architecture is original but no, that 18th century home hasn’t always been a Vineyard Vines.
Kiawah Island Golf Resort
Take an opportunity to play a round at the host resort of past Ryder Cup and PGA Championship tournaments. If you think to yourself that it’s a bit pricier than you’d like, just remember that the more shots it takes you to finish your round, the better the bang for your buck.
