Where is the Wedding Ceremony and Reception?

Answer

The wedding ceremony and reception will take place at the Bayview Room and Terrace at Sandestin Golf and Beach Resort, located in Miramar Beach, Florida. With breathtaking views, elegant surroundings, and a serene coastal atmosphere, the Bayview Room offers the perfect setting for our celebration. We can’t wait to share this special day with you at this beautiful venue! Answer

Yes, there is parking at the venue free of charge.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

We are so excited to celebrate our special day with you! Due to venue capacity limitations, we can only accommodate guests who have been formally given a plus one. If you did not receive a plus one, we kindly ask that you attend solo. Thank you for your understanding, and we can’t wait to celebrate with you!

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

We’ve secured a hotel block at The Grand at Sandestin for our guests. To access booking information and a discount code for rooms within our block, please visit the "Travel" tab on our wedding website. While we highly recommend staying in our block to take advantage of the discounted rates, you are welcome to stay anywhere that suits you. Other on-property options include Hotel Effie, and there are also nearby Airbnb and VRBO rentals. For a full list of accommodation options, please visit the "Accommodations" section on the Sandestin website linked here. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Your comfort and safety are important to us! If you have any food allergies or special dietary requests, please be sure to let us know. We want to make sure everyone has an enjoyable dining experience, so don’t hesitate to reach out with any specific needs. Thank you for helping us ensure a great celebration for all!

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the ceremony?

Answer

Yes, there will be shuttle transportation available for guests attending the wedding! However, to use the shuttle, you’ll need to be staying at one of the designated hotels offering this service. If you’re staying at an Airbnb or VRBO, please check with your host to confirm if they provide a shuttle pass. The property is quite large, but don’t worry—it’s very walkable, so you’ll have no trouble getting around on foot if you prefer to explore at your own pace. When checking in for your stay, the hotel will provide you with a shuttle schedule, so you’ll know all the available shuttle times and can plan accordingly. If you have any questions or need more details, feel free to reach out! We want to make sure your transportation is as easy and convenient as possible.

Is there a dress code?

Yes! The dress code for our wedding is formal or cocktail attire. We’d love for our guests to dress up and celebrate with us in style. Ladies, think elegant dresses or chic cocktail attire, and gentlemen, a suit or dressy ensemble. We can't wait to see you looking fabulous!

Can I take Pictures throughout the Ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that no photos or videos be taken during the ceremony. We’ve hired a professional photographer and videographer to capture these special moments, and we want everyone to be fully present with us. There will be plenty of opportunities for photos throughout the night, and we promise to share the professional pictures with everyone once we receive them. Thank you for understanding and helping us create an intimate and memorable experience!
