I had previously RSVP'd. Do I need to redo the process?

Answer

Yes please! We have added additional questions into the RSVP's as the events are more finalized. To edit responses, go back to the RSVP page on this wedding website, scroll to bottom to select edit, and please re-answer questions! Please provide updated response by October 1st!

Where should I stay for the wedding?

Answer

We have two blocks of rooms 1. Griffin Gate Resort (this is slightly outside of downtown Lexington) https://www.marriott.com/event-reservations/reservation-link.mi?id=1755099691400&key=GRP&app=resvlink 2.21C Museum and Hotel (this is in downtown Lexington) Room block link https://book.passkey.com/gt/220875584?gtid=67e7ca4e265868eef3b2301660503a48 There are other hotels in the area around he Griffin Gate as well to support utilizing the shuttle. We do not have room blocks but suggestions are: Courtyard by Marriott North Hilton Lexington/Downtown Hyatt Regency Lexington There are also great Airbnb options in the downtown Lexington area!

Can I come to the rehearsal dinner?

Answer

Absolutely! The more the merrier and we look forward to sharing dinner with all our guests the night before!

What time should I arrive for the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony will start at 4:30pm so we recommend getting to the venue around 4-4:15pm.

Will there be transportation for the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We will have a shuttle running from the Griffin Gate Hotel to the Apiary for the ceremony as well as at the end of the night returning back to the Griffin Gate.

We are getting married at The Apiary in Lexington, KY. Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Apiary. What will the dress code be for the wedding?

Answer

Wedding dress code will be black tie! This will be a fun and formal event! What does this mean? Black tie just means we'd love for everyone to get dressed up, fancy, and celebrate in style. For the men, that usually means a tuxedo or a dark suit with a bow tie or tie. For the ladies, time to wear a long gown!

Will the ceremony be unplugged?

Yes! We want to see your faces not your devices and we have a wonderful photographer who will be capturing all the moments!

Are there other events during the weekend?

Answer

Well you know we like to enjoy bourbon and some of the finest that Lexington has! We are planning on Thursday doing a distillery tour and Friday doing a tour of Keeneland! We are holding a rehearsal dinner for all Friday night for all in town and then brunch on Sunday! Let us know if you are interested in these events by RSVP'ing by October 1!! Also, we have added all our favorites in the Things to Do section if you want to explore on your own!

What will the weather be like?

Answer

Well one thing that is absolutely certain is no one is certain about the weather in Kentucky! Typically we'd expect temperatures during the day in the 60s and getting into the 40s at night!

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We feel so lucky to be surrounded by our favorite people and the greatest gift is you travelling to celebrate with us! Your journey to be with us is the best present we could ask for! We don't have a traditional registry for that reason! If you'd like to contribute, a cash gift towards our honeymoon adventure is always appreciated - but truly, it's not necessary. We both are so grateful to celebrate with all our loved ones in the same place!
