"Sirsen" Britt's younger sister. After a scrappy youth dressed in men's boxer shorts with the flap sewn up, Siri has become the most amazing person. She's a passionate educator, the most loyal friend, so strong, so committed to her students, and gives the best relationship advice. She has crazy good dance moves (unlike me). Not a morning person.

Justin Clarno

Best Man

Brandon's eldest brother Growing up Justin was always the leader of the pack. Justin is vivacious and fun. People have always been drawn to him and his spirit. He was the perfect older brother, always supporting me and taking me on adventures with his group of friends. Justin has always been the financially savvy, wiser older brother. He has two little girls, Ada and Cora, who he loves and adores. They are the most precious thing in his life. When I was diagnosed with cancer, Justin moved home to Olympia, giving up a life and career in Georgia to be close and support the family. Justin is married to Lea, his high school sweetheart. She is equally as special and loving. Every morning for my cancer treatment she would bring me to and from radiation and get me hot chocolate and lunch.

"Bobo" Britt's youngest sister Bobo is the most insightful person I know. She can see to the root of anything going on. She's committed to the people she loves and is the least judgmental person ever. She has an openness combined with a wisdom. Like her older sister Siri (and again unlike me), she too has wicked dance moves. Her belly rolls (even pregnant) are epic.

Adam Clarno

Best Man

Brandon's elder brother Adam is a kind-hearted, loving individual. Like Justin, Adam would bring me along on adventures. One of my favorite childhood memories with Adam is catching sand sharks down together on the docks of the marina. Adam is also very financially savvy and wise, and also is caring and generous. When I was going through treatment, Adam would get me a special gift every Saturday. My favorite gift was a down sleeping bag that Adam got for me to use when I got better. Adam, being a medical provider, was critical in the success of my treatment and overall care. I had a few very special years living with Adam in Portland. During the summer Adam is an active mountaineer. You can find him bagging peaks.

Sara Harris

"Surrah" Britt's friend since high school Would you rather be a magical mermaid or a fairy princess? Sara is both. Sar is the MOST fun and always up for an adventure. I knew I wanted to be Sara's friend since the first day of cross-country practice freshman year when Sar rocked the hair ribbons. She has the cutest family and most loyal husband, Jon. Sara is an incredibly committed friend--she shows up for her people. She's stuck by me through thick and thin.

David Akuien

Part of Brandon's family since Brandon was a young teenager. David is a very special part of my family. I met David through an internship that my mom was a part of. David's kind soul and vivid spirit became a meaningful, important part of the family. His constant drive to better himself through education and his support of his loved ones has been truly inspiring. David, like, Adam, loves being in the outdoors and has a special love for the Pacific Northwest. He is truly one of the most globally-minded, well-informed and sympathetic people. David has been a blessing to our family and is loved like a brother.

"Carlyle" Britt's friend since high school Our tropical goddess. Car lives on the North Shore of Oahu with her adorable kids and husband, Sergio. Carlita has killer dance moves, and is maybe the funniest person I knows. Like hands down. Trips to the Fruit Loop, countless Marco Polos, the jean skirt, helmet hair, dance parties, and an amazing, amazing heart for God. If you need an encouraging word, Car gets amazing Bible verses.

"Molls" Britt's best friend from Duke Divinity. Ah--how can you sum up Mary Noelle Williamson!?! Molly is a steadfast friend. Affectionate, kind-hearted, quick to laugh and super sharp--like super, SUPER smart 🤓. So many memories of sour straws, watching shows on her couch, Easter sleepovers, study sessions, church on Sundays and good times. Molls just started a new job as a pastor in Durham, North Carolina. Her church is lucky to have her!

"Brookiewoofoo" Britt's friend since high school Our Samoan princess lives too far away from us in Sydney, Australia! When she's not killing the game in school to be a speech pathologist, Brookles is traveling the world with her husband, Jay. Brooklynne has a gift of speaking life over people. She encourages you in the deepest places of your heart where other people can't quite get to. She is also, however, surprisingly aggressive in the right situations (like peanut buttering cars...😳) haha. Brookiewoo is faithful, SO FUN and if you only could hear her sing....WOW.
