We first met in October 2020 thanks to Suzanne Levesque, my boss at Sabre and Austin's longtime family friend. Suz was always trying to set me up with any eligible bachelors she could find, and she ran into Austin at a wedding. She texted me a picture of Austin with his Ausiedoodle, Bear, and I agreed that she could give him my number, even though I wasn't sure about the four year age difference between us. Austin texted me the next day and asked me to go out, and then his phone promptly died and he never responded for the rest of the evening. We met at Leela's Wine Bar for our first date on October 27, 2020, and it was, by all accounts, a great first date. The fun was short-lived though, as I came down with COVID-19 three days later. There almost wasn't a second date. But after I recovered, I met Austin for our second date at one of our now favorite spots, Oishii Sushi. We went on a whirlwind tour after that, meeting both of our very large friend groups, traveling to both our SEC Alma Maters for football games, going on vacations and falling in love. I am sure glad I gave that second date a chance, because Austin is the best thing that's ever happened to me. We can't wait to start our life together together and build our family, and we can't wait to celebrate with all of the people we love the most! See y'all in Cabo!!!
