FAQs

Question

Where is the wedding?

Answer

The ceremony and reception are at River Run Lodge which is in Eagle Crest Resort. Eagle Crest Resort is located in Redmond, Oregon.

Question

What's the best way to get to the venue?

Answer

Guests coming from out of state can fly into Portland (PDX) or Redmond (RDM). From PDX, you will need to rent a car to get to Redmond (a beautiful 3 hour drive over Mt. Hood). From RDM, you can rent a car or consider using services like Uber or Lyft to get to Eagle Crest Resort (a 15 minute drive).

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

There are plenty of great lodging options! We recommend staying at Eagle Crest Resort, where you can choose from 2–3 bedroom chalets or hotel rooms directly on their website (https://www.eagle-crest.com). When you book through the resort, they offer complimentary shuttle service, just coordinate with them for rides to and from the Redmond airport and around the resort during your stay. If you need more space, you can also look for larger homes on Airbnb or VRBO. Just be sure to set the location to Eagle Crest Resort when searching.

Question

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Yes, there is lots of parking at River Run Lodge. If you book accommodations with Eagle Crest Resort directly, you can also schedule a free shuttle from your accommodations to and from the venue!

Question

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

The ceremony starts at 4:30pm, please arrive in time to be seated by then.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Formal but not black tie! For men, a suit or a jacket with slacks is perfect. Ties are welcome but totally optional. For women, cocktail dresses or long dresses. Make sure to look up the weather forecast for the area. It can be unpredictable this time of year!

Hiking, Golf, Great Restaurants! Highlights include Smith Rock, High Desert Museum, Lava Rocks National Park, and, for shopping, downtown Bend or Sisters. There is golf on the resort property, as well as a spa and a walking trail along the Deschutes River.
