This will take you next to our front gates which are between two grey stone columns/white open metal gates. There will be a sign for Killyon Manor. DRIVING IN As soon as you turn onto the drive, you’ll feel a sense of nature running wild. This is normal - keep going! About 400 metres down the drive, you’ll see a sign directing you left to the ceremony and parking, by the Lady well. If you cross an old stone bridge over the river, you’ve gone too far. NATURE RESERVE Killyon Manor estate is a re-wilding nature reserve , now supported by National Parks of Ireland. LEAVE NO TRACE No smoking beyond parking area No cigarette butts No litter No confetti (only our petals!) No plastic WALK TO THE CHAPEL This will be signed and takes ten minutes. There is a rustic compost loo en route. Bridal party should keep on main path (follow sign to Grand Entrance!) through the floral arch, there is a short cut for suppliers (also signed) if they prefer. TIMINGS: Suppliers from 1:00 pm Guests from 2:00 pm Check out 5:00 pm BRING Sensible shoes: for the walk. It is a ten minute walk through fields and woods to the site. The ground is likely to be soft or wet. Shawls or wraps: Shawls or wraps for your shoulders and to sit on will protect delicate clothing and keep you warm in the shade. Umbrellas: This is a totally outdoor venue, so check the weather forecast and come prepared. AFTER THE CEREMONY You have freedom of the estate. Keep to the paths and don’t climb fences, or open gates, or enter any other of the ruins except the chapel.
