In a world of endless swipes and chance encounters, fate (and a little bit of WiFi magic) brought us together. We met through a dating app- both taking a leap of faith, not knowing that one message would change our lives forever. From the start, we realized how much we had in common—two high desert kids from big families (we each have 4 siblings), a love for good food, share the same faith, we both are equally obsessed with our dogs (maybe Rosanna is slightly more obsessed with her dog), and enjoy finding joy in the little things. Our first date at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) was filled with laughter, curiosity, and a shared appreciation for art (and Carlos’ impressive ability to navigate LA traffic). But the moment that sealed it? When he took Rosanna to Kuya Lord, a small Filipino restaurant tucked away off the beaten path. It wasn’t just the amazing food—it was the thoughtfulness behind the choice, the way we connected over our cultures, and the feeling that this was something special. As our relationship grew, so did our deep conversations about faith, the countless Masses we attended together, and the long drives Carlos made just to spend a few extra hours by each other’s side. Every moment, big and small, has been part of the journey that brought us here. Now, we can’t wait to start this next chapter together and celebrate our love with all of you. See you on the big day!
