Question

Is there a registry?

Answer

We've been blessed with a lot of amazing things this year including a new house and this wedding. After the wedding, our next chapter together will be to start the journey of building our family with children. Since two boys can't make a baby, we need the help of some science and a surrogate. So if you came here looking to see which brand of blenders we'd like, we'd love it if instead you considered contributing to our surrogacy journey which is linked on the top of this page under the header "Surrogacy Journey Fund".

Question

Is there transportation to and from the hotels to the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We have a trolley running to and from the Meadowmere and if you are staying at Cliff House Maine, then you're already there! Check out our Travel & Accommodations page for all the info you need.

Question

If I didn't RSVP yes to the lobster bake can I show up anyways? If I can no longer go, can I just not show up?

Answer

If you can no longer join us for the lobster bake please let us know immediately! We do need an accurate headcount for the lobster bake since they are buying the lobsters in bulk beforehand, its going to be buffet style so those babies are getting cooked and we don't want to waste those precious lobsters! If you didnt RSVP for the lobster bake and have changed your mind, please also let us know immediately. Jonathans will be cooking the amount of lobsters we give them for the total RSVP headcount we've got, so unfortunately they wont be able to accommodate any day-of additions.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

The official dress code is "resort elegant." What does that mean? Pat's still trying to figure that out, but we want everyone to be comfortable being themselves! Neither Pat or Carlos are big suit guys, so don't feel obligated to suit up. If a suit is your thing, though, do it up! (Not to be mistaken for bathing suit!)

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

Check your invite. If we included "family" then chances are we included your kids in the headcount. For the most part though, we are hoping our wedding can be your night off and include some heavy duty adult partying!

Question

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says “and Guest,” then yes, if not, we would prefer if it was just you.

Question

How do I choose, New York strip, line caught seared cod, & what the heck is "crabless" crab cakes?

Answer

All options are incredible! Pat's favorite was actually the Cod, which surprised him since he's not huge into seafood, Carlos' favorite was the faux crab cakes but Pat wont allow him to get it at the actual wedding since its the wedding and its probably best to have a heavier meal, and our Mom's favorite was the NY strip. Here are the full menu descriptions: Aged NY Strip Steak | creamed green peppercorn demi, boursin whipped potatoes, roasted baby sweet peppers, seasonal baby vegetables - speaks for itself, this baby was the bomb! Line Caught Seared Cod | clam chowder “sauce”, chive-citrus butter, spinach & arugula - this description doesn't do the meal justice. Its basically a deconstructed fish/clam chowder with a big portion of cod and little neck clams. Crabless Crab cake | hearts of palm, granny smith, horseradish aioli, heirloom tomato, baby frisee, arugula, lemon vin - the hearts of palm give a crab texture, Carlos' favorite and something even Pat enjoyed!

Question

Who wrote this FAQ?

Answer

While getting lots of inspiration from Carlos, Pat was the creative genius behind this FAQ. After hearing from several people that thought it was actually Carlos who wrote these clever answers, he thought it was necessary to set the record straight.
