Blind Date and Calendar Dates. Those two terms are the fuel of Kelly and Carlos’ relationship. The first “Dates” represents the act of physically going out on a Date. The second “Date” represents dates on a calendar. Both Dates are crucial in the journey that led Carlos and Kelly to the Altar. Initially, Carlos and Kelly were set up on a blind Date. The connection was made through Kelly’s Brother, Kevin. (For more details of the initial set up, ask Kevin). The only problem was that Kelly lived in Tallahassee and Carlos lived in Jacksonville. As a result, Carlos drove to Tallahassee for the first date. After tacos, Krispy Kreme Donuts and a UFC Fight party, the First Date was only the beginning. After the first date, Carlos and Kelly relied on the Dates on the calendar. Because of the distance, they planned future dates, events and trips in advance. These Dates have allowed Carlos and Kelly to grow closer in their love of each other, family, travel, and donuts. From cathedrals in Spain, mountains in Banff and the Biltmore Estate, Carlos and Kelly are constantly on the move with the next big Date to occur on March 27, 2021.
