When should I RSVP by?

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?

Answer

We encourage our guests to arrive by 2:30pm to ensure a prompt start time of the ceremony at 3:00pm!

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?

Answer

Limited parking is available onsite at the McLean-Medrano Family Residence on a first-come, first-served basis. A parking team will direct overflow traffic to Strother Park (1150 Huasna Rd, Arroyo Grande, CA), a 3-minute walk, or nearby street parking. We encourage carpooling and ride shares (Uber/Lyft) as onsite parking is limited and street parking may require a short walk.

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, of course there is! Black Tie Garden Party: We invite guests to wear formal, elegant styles such as floor length gowns, elevated midi dresses, tuxedos, or dark suits. We kindly suggest neutral tones, earthy hues, and classic colors. A note on attire colors: We encourage guests to wear classic and refined tones such as black, champagne, taupe, chocolate brown, sage, navy, and muted jewel tones. A note on footwear: Our ceremony will be held outdoors in a large grassy field. Ladies, feel free to wear heels, we simply encourage choosing a pair that can comfortably navigate grass and outdoor terrain. Stilettos, although fabulous, don't always love grass, and we would love for you to walk comfortably throughout our celebration and enjoy a night of dancing! Please do not wear overly bold prints or neon colors. White and ivory are reserved for the bride - thank you for helping her shine in her moment!

Can I bring a date?

We are so looking forward to celebrating this special day with our invited guests. We kindly ask that only guests formally named on the invitation attend, as we are only able to accommodate those listed. We appreciate your understanding and can't wait to celebrate with you!

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we adore children, we have chosen to make our wedding an adults-only event. We hope this allows everyone to relax and celebrate with us fully.

Do you have any hotel recommendations?

Answer

Yes, we do! Head over to the Travel tab and we have listed 5 hotels in the nearby area that we recommend! Please note that if you book with the Hampton Inn, the link we have posted will take you directly to the discounted rate for your rooms!

I have a food allergy, can I make a special request?

Answer

If you have any food allergies or dietary restrictions, please include them in your RSVP! We are happy to accommodate dietary needs when possible, but we may not be able to honor requests submitted after July 15th.
