During the spring semester of 2023, while attending the University of Houston, Dalia was invited to a Friday devotional for campus students. It was there that she met Carlos, who had recently moved to Houston from Los Angeles to help the church. What began as a simple introduction quickly grew into a meaningful friendship, rooted in faith, laughter, and shared purpose. On February 25, 2024, Carlos asked Dalia to be his girlfriend, marking the beginning of a new chapter together. Then, on November 22, 2025, surrounded by their church family during a retreat, Carlos got down on one knee and asked Dalia for her hand in marriage. With joyful hearts and grateful spirits, they said yes to a lifetime together.
