Is there a dress code?
Answer
We’d love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day. The dress code is formal. Dress to impress! Ladies can wear floor-length, tea-length, or midi gowns or formal dresses. Please avoid wearing yellow. Gentlemen can wear a suit & tie. No jeans or casual footwear, please! For the ladies, we ask that you respect the bride by not dressing in any shade of white. What are the addresses for the wedding ceremony and reception venue?
Answer
The wedding ceremony and reception are both taking place at the same venue: Aquatopia Water Garden Conservatory, 2710 March Rd, Carp, ON K0A 1L0.

What time should I arrive at the ceremony?
Answer
We ask that you please arrive between 5-5:30pm to be seated for the ceremony at 6pm. Late arrivals may not be permitted to ensure a smooth and timely ceremony.

Is there parking for the ceremony or reception?
Answer
Parking is available at the venue in the designated parking lot.

Will transportation be provided?
Answer
Due to limited demand, we have decided not to charter a bus. Each guest will be responsible for their own transportation to and from the venue, thank you for your understanding. We suggest planning your ride home in advance, as the venue is located outside of the city center (about 40 minute drive from downtown to venue). Key details to take note of: -A line of taxis will be called at the end of the night. The venue is also happy to call anyone taxis throughout the night as needed. -Uber, Lyft, or a taxi can be scheduled in advance. Please note, taxi will be the most reliable mode of transportation at the end of the night. In some cases, Uber and Lyft may not decide to come out to the venue after 10pm, please plan accordingly. -For those driving, cars can be left parked overnight but must be picked up the next day.

What's the easiest way to get to and from your wedding venue?
Answer
The easiest way to get to and from the wedding venue is driving. If you plan on drinking, we suggest planning your ride home in advance. Uber, Lyft, or a taxi can be scheduled in advance. For those driving, cars can be left parked overnight but must be picked up the next day.

Will there be a bar?

Yes! Wine, beer, and a few specialty cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages are on us! Proof of age will be required at the bar, please remember your ID!

We're so grateful for your love and support as we embark on this journey together. If you'd like to contribute to our future, a monetary gift would be cherished as we build our life together.

Can I take pictures?
Answer
We are having an "unplugged" ceremony (no phones or cameras). The greatest gift you can give us is being fully present as we say "I do". We have hired professionals to capture this moment for us and we promise to share our photos as soon as we receive them. After the ceremony, feel free to take as many photos and videos as you'd like!

The ceremony and reception will both take place indoors. Please dress accordingly for the summer heat.

What should I do if I can’t make it?
Answer
You will be missed! If you cannot attend our wedding please indicate your regrets on our RSVP tab so we can so we can plan accordingly.

We ask that you RSVP by June 12th.

Can I bring a date?
Answer
Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding!

Are kids welcome?
Answer
We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adults-only event. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!
