It all began when Catherine approached Rachel in January 2005 to compliment her amazing coral-toned pants at a French cooking class at Reed College. For the past 13 years, Rachel and Catherine have wondered, cried, created, learned, laughed, and even gotten tattooed with each other from one profound life transition into the next- even while living hundreds of miles apart. A true creator, Rachel is an artist, designer, mom, yogini, and doula, with a deep understanding of the subtle and profound. We are so honored that Rachel created our beautiful and fun wedding invitations!
Andre Moreno

Carlos' big brother Andre is almost his twin: They're equally fun, full of energy, generous beyond compare, and have hearts of gold. Andre is an electrician, a salsa dancer, a US Navy Chief, a nature lover, and a photographer. Carlos and Andre grew up together in West Seattle and Bothell, and got to know each other all over again while living together in Seattle between 2015-17. Andre's girlfriend Donia and Catherine both know that when these guys are building things or playing guitar together, there's no stopping them!!
Tova Moreno

Tova is Carlos' first wife, and we just love her so much! With her boundless capacity for fun, contagious energy and enthusiasm, and dedication to living life with every ounce of her whole heart, Tova is a force of nature. Carlos and Tova met at the University of Washington in 1997, learned Argentine tango, and took a 12 year adventure together, teaching tango across the US and the world, and supporting each other through life's transitions. We are overjoyed to include Tova and her family in our family.
Daniel Liggett
Bachelor of Honor
Catherine's little brother Daniel is a happy and hilarious guy with a big heart and mad technical skills. He's a Microsoft engineer and a Lindy Hop dancer who also loves the creativity and theatrics of being a Dungeons and Dragons Dungeon Master (much less creepy than it sounds). Catherine and Daniel share the same love of ridiculous physical humor, nature, and deep conversations, and got to strengthen these connections while living together in Kirkland between 2015-17.

We are so honored to have Melinda officiating our wedding. A reiki master and teacher for over 17 years, Melinda strongly believes in Love as the greatest power. She is deeply passionate about empowering others to find their own unique gifts, and believes that each and every human being is a healer at heart. Melinda was Catherine's reiki teacher, and is also a beloved colleague and friend.
