Carlos and Audra began dating in April of 2019, when Audra decided to "slide" into Carlos's direct messages on instagram (with some encouragement of friends), after seeing this attractive Dad at a volleyball tournament his daughter was playing in. Carlos asked Audra on a date, and they went on their first date at Toltec Brewery in Albuquerque. They immediately hit it off, and began dating. After about 4 months, they both felt as though maybe they would be better off as friends, as they both had things to work on personally before they were ready for a full, life long commitment. So, friends is what they became, and best friends at that. They shared everything with one another, and built a bond that was deeper than even what they had experienced while dating. They helped each other through some really difficult times, and were a constant in one another's lives. In February of 2021, after they had both gone through their own personal challenges, Carlos decided to ask Audra if she would "give it another go" on Valentines day. Flash forward to Valentine's day of 2024, Carlos asked her if she would be his forever life partner, which she tearfully said yes! The two of them always wanted a fast engagement, so here they are, planning a wedding only 5 months after the proposal, but very thankful for those of their family and friends who can make it, or who love them from afar!
