After Carlos finished his time in the Navy and Alex finished grad school, they met the way everyone does nowadays. Hinge! Carlos showed up late and at the wrong restaurant on the first date but they still had a great time. This restaurant eventually became the namesake of our youngest, and craziest cat, Vino. While living in Colorado we took many trips to visit family and friends across the country before making the decision to move to the Midwest to be closer to loved ones.
