our happily ever after

Back in 2019, Deanna was busy with her studies at UCR while Carlos was at CSUSB, each wrapped up in their own college world. One night during a friend hangout at Korean BBQ, a playful exchange sparked a connection, and Carlos immediately knew he wanted to get to know Deanna better. Later that year, Deanna transferred to CSUSB, giving them even more chances to spend time together. What started as casual hangouts soon turned into study sessions, lunch dates, and spontaneous Disneyland trips whenever classes got canceled. Everything felt easy and fun, and before long, their friendship naturally blossomed into something more. Then 2020 arrived. The world slowed down, but their relationship never did. They spent those days cooking together, experimenting with new recipes, and finding adventure in even the quietest moments. For their first anniversary, Carlos cooked a special dinner and transformed a garage into a cozy wonderland. It wasn’t fancy, but it was perfect, and in that moment, they both knew they had found something lasting. Since then, life together has been full of laughter, adventures, and plenty of memorable moments. Whether it’s spending a whole day at Disneyland or sneaking in for just an hour, the park has become their happy place, a world of their own and one of their favorite traditions. One dream they’ve always shared was visiting Disney World, and in November 2024, they finally got to experience it. The trip was everything they had imagined, and during those magical moments, Carlos knew it was the perfect time to start planning the next chapter of their story together. Now, they can’t wait to celebrate their wedding and begin this next adventure together, surrounded by love, laughter, and all the joy still to come.
