We are jumping the broom!

Well, we originally met on Hinge in December. Yes, that is right, a dating app. I was back in Denver for the holiday break and he reached out to me. I responded, we texted for a few days and he asked for my number. We talked and it was like magic. We finally met in person at the Lazy Dog restaurant in The Oaks mall in Thousand Oaks, CA on the MLK holiday. From that moment forward I knew that what we had was something special.

My initial date to propose was on our anniversary but our ring got to me earlier than expected. I was going to wait but unexpected events took place and I realized that I should not/could not/would not wait a second, minute, hour, day, week, month or year more to do so. I nervously asked and I totally messed it up but I pressed on to finally ask Tracey and at first she didn't believe I was asking her to be with me forever so we can sail away across the universe on solar winds. Tracey said yes and I have been in a state of euphoria ever since. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Denver!
