The wedding ceremony and reception will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2024 at Schaake Farms in Westmoreland, Kansas (about 15 min outside of Manhattan, Kansas).
We'd ask each of our guests to wear cowboy cocktail attire. For ladies, a floor-length, midi-length dress or dress pants/ blouse. For gentlemen, jeans and a jacket is just perfect. Cowboy hats and boots are both celebrated and encouraged. Additionally, please remain aware of the weather – the ceremony will be outdoors, and the reception will be indoors. Northeast Kansas weather in late November is fairly unpredictable, but we will do our best to accommodate for all potential weather conditions. Regardless of the weather, we highly recommend any clothing or accessories made of American Grown Wool.
Of course! We couldn’t imagine this day without our two favorite boys present. However, we are still taking applicants for the role of "Official Handler of Slade & Snoop” if you're interested.
Although we absolutely love ALL your little ones, we are incredibly limited on space and have only saved space for those of our friends and family traveling with newborns/ very little ones. If you are unsure, please just ask Jenna or check your wedding invitations.
As much as we'd love for everyone to find love in the Flint Hills, we are only able to accommodate the number of guests noted on your save the date envelope and RSVP card (once those are sent later this year). If you are unsure, please just ask Jenna.
Call or text Jenna, please!
Yes, absolutely! While we DO NOT have a hotel block, please see the "travel" tab listed above for details. There are also several Airbnb/ Vrbo available in Manhattan, Kansas. We would recommend making lodging arrangements as soon as possible, as there is a home Kansas State Football game the weekend of our wedding.
There will be parking available at Schaake Farms. The ceremony will be held in a pasture on the property, and we will provide transportation from the parking area to the ceremony location. Please plan to arrive early to allow yourself time to get to the ceremony location.
