CHARLESTON INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT

Kiawah is located 40-45 minutes from the Charleston Airport. There are taxis, Ubers, and a number of rental car options to get you to Kiawah when you arrive. In general for those flying in, it's often best to rent a car if traveling around the Island and to/from the airport. The Resort does provide an airport shuttle for guests staying at resort properties, and there are some taxi services and drivers available to reserve as well (see below)

KIAWAH ISLAND VILLA OR HOUSE RENTALS

There are many villas and homes available to rent through the Kiawah Island Golf Resort. Booking through the resort offers benefits such as access to resort pools and discounts on dining and golf. Guests staying through the resort also receive complimentary shuttle services to resort properties. To book through the Resort: call 1-800-654-2924. The neighborhoods we recommend booking for our provided transportation locations are the Tennis Club Villas, Windswept, Mariners Watch & Parkside (East Beach Area). Properties can also be rented through Airbnb, VRBO or other 3rd party vendors. Transportation will be offered to guests for all wedding events. *Please note, Villa Check-In Time is 4:30 PM*. All guests arriving earlier are welcome to enjoy all Kiawah amenities by requesting an amenity card at registration.

Andell Inn

The Andell Inn is a Marriott property in Freshfields Village, just outside the Island gates. It offers shopping, a grocery store, and several great bars and restaurants! Transportation will be offered to guests staying at the Andell Inn for all wedding events.

The Sanctuary Resort & Spa

The Sanctuary is an oceanfront luxury 5-star resort & spa centrally located on the island. The hotel is part of the Kiawah Island Golf Resort and provides access to amenities, discounts and preferred reservations for golf, tennis, dining and the spa. Transportation will be offered to guests staying at The Sanctuary for all wedding events.

GENERAL TRANSPORTATION ON KIAWAH ISLAND

There are no ride-share apps like Uber/Lyft available on the Island. There are many rental options available at the airport (very easy!) as well as taxi services and drivers named below. If you are not renting a car, we recommend scheduling your ride back to the airport IN ADVANCE.
