FAQs

Question

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will start promptly at 3:00pm, so please plan to arrive between 2:30-2:45pm.

Question

What is the dress code?

Answer

Think garden party formal! We'd love to see light, airy fabrics, florals, and fun colors - just keep in mind that the ceremony and reception will be outdoors, so plan for grass-friendly shoes! Here is a link to our Pinterest board for guest attire inspiration: https://pin.it/1sQiN1Bcq

Question

What if it rains?

Answer

We are currently planning for an outdoor ceremony in front of the Lewis-Atkinson House, with the reception to follow outdoors in the pavilion and gardens behind the house. In the event of rain, our ceremony will be moved to the Lewis-Atkinson Chapel, and the reception will take place in Heritage Hall, right next to the Chapel. No matter the weather, both our original plan and our rain plan will take place at the same address—so you won’t have to travel anywhere else.

Question

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

We kindly ask that you RSVP by March 1st. After this date we will sadly have to assume you will not be joining us!

Question

Are children invited?

Answer

We love your little ones! However, we have decided to keep our wedding and reception an adult-only event with the exception of close family. We encourage you to use this evening as a date night!

Question

Can I bring a guest?

Answer

Due to limited space, we are only able to accommodate those guests formally invited on your wedding invitation. If you received a plus one they will appear under your name when you RSVP. Thank you for understanding, and please feel free to reach out with any questions!

Question

Are you having a welcome party?

Answer

While we would love to host a Welcome Party for our guests, we will be having an intimate Rehearsal Dinner for immediate family and wedding party only. If you are to attend the Rehearsal Dinner you will see the option to accept or decline when you RSVP.
