What date should I RSVP by?

Answer

We ask that wedding RSVP cards be returned by July 1, 2026 to allow us to have enough to get final numbers to our vendors. Thank you. Please note that we do NOT have a chicken dish. It was supposed to be a Vegetarian Pasta. If you would like the Vegetarian Pasta, please write your name next to the chicken line. Sorry!

Where should I stay?

Answer

Please see the "Travel" section of our website for recommended hotels. Please note that there will be a UVA home football game, and Charlottesville may book quickly. If you need help finding a place to stay, let Carlin know, as he is a travel advisor and can help get you booked!

Will there be transportation from Charlottesville to the wedding venue and back?

Answer

Yes. We will be providing shuttles from downtown Charlottesville. Pickup/drop-off location at the Doyle Hotel (499 West Main Street). The Buses will leave at 4:45 pm. There is very limited parking at the venue, and we would prefer that guests take the shuttles.

Do you have a wedding registry?

Answer

We do not. We would prefer and welcome any contributions to our honeymoon fund. We will also have a box for cards at the wedding.

Is it okay to post wedding photos on social media?

Answer

Absolutely, and please send us your photos! We will also have a QR code to scan at the wedding to upload your photos to our wedding photo gallery.

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The majority of the wedding is being held outdoors. The reception will be held under an open-air tent. There will also be a greenhouse area to explore.

Will there be meal options for guests with dietary restrictions and/or allergies?

Answer

We plan to offer vegetarian entrée options to accommodate guests with dietary restrictions. Our menu is also nut-free. If you have additional restrictions that go beyond what we've listed here, please let us know on your RSVP. We want you to feel comfortable and well-fed!

Will there be an open bar?

Absolutely!

What time will the reception end and is there an after-party?

Answer

The reception will end at 10:55 pm at which time we will be handing out sparklers for a send-off. Transportation will leave right after for downtown Charlottesville. The after-party is at the Whiskey Jar (please see our schedule page for the address).

Where will wedding updates be posted?

Answer

Additional updates or changes that need your attention will appear on our wedding website. Please check the website prior to departing for the wedding weekend.
