August 21, 2021 We first met in the spring of 2020 while sitting near each other in Developmental Psychology (though we never spoke then). A year later, during orientation week in August 2021, we were both orientation leaders—and that’s when our friendship truly began. June 9, 2022 Josh returned from his post-graduation adventures in Europe! While we were still just friends, this season marked the beginning of exploring whether our relationship might become something more. July 6, 2022 On one of our very first dates, we met halfway between Willmar and Rogers at a small lakeside spot. While sitting on the dock, we noticed “J ♥ C” carved into the wood—it felt like a sweet sign from God. August 22, 2022 What began as a great friendship naturally grew into something more. This is the day Josh and Carlie made it official. December 17, 2022 After four months apart while Carlie studied abroad in Italy, we were finally reunited. May 7, 2023 Carlie graduated, and Josh was accepted into the Doctorate of Physical Therapy Program at Concordia St. Paul—another big milestone in our journey together. August 22, 2023 We celebrated our first anniversary! August 22, 2024 Two years together and still growing stronger. August 18, 2025 While on vacation in Washington, Josh proposed—and Carlie said yes!
