Collin and Carlie met during orientation at the University of South Florida, where they were assigned to the same group. After that first weekend, they quickly became inseparable, spending every day together whenever they had classes. Carlie made a deal with Collin: if he picked her up and drove her to class each morning, she would make him a waffle from the dining hall in return. As mornings turned into afternoons, their friendship grew into something more. Collin soon invited Carlie to the movies with him and his friends. That night, he asked her if he could hold her hand—and the next day, he asked her to be his girlfriend. Collin and Carlie have been together since July 10, 2019, and are now beginning their forever.
