What airport should I fly into?

Answer

The closest airport is the Reno-Tahoe International Airport. It is about a 45min drive from the airport to the hotel (Hyatt Regency at North Lake Tahoe). The second closest is Sacramento, with a two-hour drive to Tahoe.

Should I get a rental car?

Answer

The decision is totally up to you; the drive from the airport to the hotel is about 45 minutes. Everything is relatively close in Incline Village. The hotel is also a 5-minute walk to the reception site. It might be worth it to either carpool or rent a car to explore all that Tahoe has to offer.

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Transportation will not be provided. We strongly encourage renting a car to explore Tahoe. If you are staying at the Hyatt, the reception site is within walking distance. The family gathering the day before is not walkable, but a short 8-minute drive down the road.

What hotel should I stay at?

Answer

Please reference the travel tab above for our hotel preference. We recommend the Hyatt due to its proximity to the reception site. Plus, the party will continue at the hotel bar after the reception. Feel free to look around the area for close-by hotel options. If you don't want to stay in the Tahoe area, there are plenty of hotels in Reno or Carson City. Please be aware that booking early is best, as spaces will fill up at this time of year.

Answer

Yes there will be parking at Aspen Grove.

What is the wedding attire?

Answer

Cocktail attire. Due to the time of year, layers are recommended.
