Check out where Michael Jordan went to high school. If the faculty is working, they'll typically let you tour the gym as long as school isn't in session.
Tour the North Carolina Battleship that was built in 1937 and was one of ten "fast battleships" to join the fleet in WWII. It's open daily and tickets are available at the website listed above.
Tons of shopping and restaurants. Sorry fellas!
More shopping and restaurants... sorry again fellas!
A nice public course that's about 30 minutes north of Wilmington. Tee time recommended.
Nice public golf course. About 30 minutes west of Wrightsville Beach or 15 minutes from downtown Wilmington. Tee time recommended
Christian's favorite cheap golf course. Walk ins typically welcome (call to make sure).
One of our favorite lunch/dinner spots! Very casual but unique vibe with fantastic Panamanian cuisine. As seen on Guy Fieri's Diners, Drive-ins, and Dives.
Enjoy lunch or dinner while overlooking the most popular beach in North Carolina- Wrightsville Beach. If the weather is nice, request to be seated out on the pier!
Enjoy a fine dining seafood experience at the back to back James Beard award nominated restaurant. In 2024, Chef Dean Neff is one of 20 semifinalists in the country for the "Outstanding Chef" award. Reservations highly recommended!
Our favorite brunch spot right near Wrightsville Beach!
Latin American fusion dishes served in downtown Wilmington. Everything is home made!
A Wrightsville Beach staple, really good local seafood and steaks. We recommend the goat cheese grouper!
Can't go wrong for brunch, lunch, happy hour, or dinner!
Grab a basket of fried shrimp or a grouper sandwich and watch the different boats travel up and down the Intracoastal Waterway/pull up to Dockside for lunch. Fun fact- the Intracoastal Waterway (right outside of Dockside) spans from Boston, Massachusetts to South Florida (and eventually to Brownsville, Texas).
Watch boats travel up and down the Intracoastal Waterway on the opposite side of Dockside. We recommend the crab dip if you're hungry!
A really cool restaurant and bar in the heart of Wrightsville Beach. When you walk in, you can make a right if you want more of a dive bar, or a left if you want a nicer dining/bar experience. Can't go wrong with either decision!
Cheers!
We recommend the Tropical Lightning IPA. Cheers!
