On valentine’s day, 2026, Carli and Cale took their dog, Coraline, on a walk in Murrells Inlet at Sunset. At the perfect time, with no one around, Cale pointed out that he had got Coraline a new charm for her collar. Upon a further glance, Carli noticed it said “Pls Marry my Dad?”. In front of a lit up cross on the water way at sunset, Cale got down on one knee and asked Carli to marry him. Coraline is their most perfect best friend, so having her play such a big role in him asking the question, was important to both of them. The pair celebrated their engagement with a romantic dinner at one of their favorite restaurants, Malibu, in Surfside Beach, SC.
