FAQs

Question

Where are we staying?

Answer

We’ve reserved a block of rooms at The Marquis Los Cabos, a stunning beachfront resort where most of the weekend magic will happen. Even better—it’s all-inclusive, which means your booking covers all your food, drinks, and snacks, plus all the perks of laid-back luxury. From the moment you arrive, you'll be pampered, well-fed, and completely relaxed. You’ll find booking details and a special link on our Travel page.

Question

What dates should we book our stay?

Answer

We recommend booking your stay for Thursday, October 8 through Sunday, October 11 (3 nights) —we’d love to celebrate the whole weekend with you! Those are the key nights included in our room block, and when all the main wedding moments will be happening! If you’d like to turn the weekend into a full-on vacation (highly encouraged!), you can also extend your stay up to three days before or after those dates using our wedding discount—based on availability.

Question

When should I book my room?

Answer

The sooner the better! Rooms are limited and will go quickly. Booking within our room block ensures you the best room options and guarantees you to be included in all the wedding festivities.

Question

What’s the dress code?

Answer

The dress code is Formal with a theme we’re calling “Wild Elegance.” We encourage formal attire in earth-inspired, nature-driven hues — olive, sage, moss, sand, taupe, terracotta, rust, clay, and soft sunset tones like blush and muted peach. Think polished, elevated, and ethereal— this is a formal evening event, not beach casual. Please avoid short sundresses or overly relaxed styles.

Question

What’s the weather like in Cabo in October?

Answer

October in Cabo is beautiful. Expect warm, sunny days (high 80s to low 90s) and cooler evenings (mid 70s).

Question

Are kids invited?

Answer

We love little ones, but this will be an adults-only weekend. Treat it as a mini vacation—more dancing, fewer juice boxes.

Question

Will transportation be provided?

Answer

Yes—we’ve got you covered for the big day! Shuttle transportation will be provided to and from the wedding venue on Saturday for all guests staying at the resort. For those flying into Cabo, airport round-trip transportation is available through a trusted transportation service and can be arranged directly using the link on the Travel page of our website. Uber, taxis, and car rentals are also optional. Please note that cellular service may be limited outside of Wi-Fi, and car rental insurance policies can differ when traveling internationally.

Question

What airport do we fly into?

Answer

Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) — about 30 minutes from the resort.

Question

Do I need a passport?

Answer

Yes! Please make sure your passport is valid through at least April 2027 (six months beyond travel).

Question

Are there events before or after the wedding day?

Answer

Absolutely! We're planning moments sprinkled throughout the weekend to bring everyone together. Stay tuned to our Schedule page for all the updates.

Question

What should I do during free time?

Answer

Cabo is full of beauty and adventure—snorkeling, sailing, spa days, tacos, exploring, sipping mezcal by the pool.

Question

Can I stay elsewhere and still attend the wedding?

Answer

You can stay elsewhere since the wedding itself is offsite—but we’d really love for you to stay at the resort with us! Most of the fun (welcome events, hangouts, late-night laughs) will be happening there, and it’s way more magical when everyone’s under one roof. The resort is private, so if you're not staying there, you’ll need to be on the guest list for any official events, and there’s a $250 event access fee per person for entry (required in advance).
