Can I bring my kids?

Answer

While we love your little ones, due to limited space this will be an adults-only event with the exception of our immediate family. If your children are not listed on your invitation, please find a sitter, bring your dancing shoes, and enjoy a date night with us!

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

Due to limited space we are only able to accommodate guests who are formally invited on your invitation. If you received a plus one they'll appear under your name when you RSVP.

What should I wear?

Answer

We'd love to see our family and friends get dressed up for our big day! Dress to impress in your best garden party formal attire. Please see our dress code tab for more details!

What time should I arrive to the ceremony?

Answer

Music will start at 4pm for guest arrival. Please arrive no later than 4:15 and be seated by 4:20. Our ceremony will start promptly at 4:30! If you arrive after the ceremony has started please head straight to cocktail hour located on the patio.

Can I take pictures during the ceremony?

Answer

We are having an unplugged ceremony, meaning that once the ceremony begins we ask that all phones be put away and silenced. We want everyone to be fully present with us and for our photographer to be able to capture the best pictures which we will share with you! Once the ceremony is over, feel free to take as many pictures as you'd like, and make sure to share them with us!

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! The drinks are on us, but the hangover is on you... come ready to party!

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have a hotel block reserved at the Kent State University Hotel & Conference Center 215 South Depeyster Street, Kent, OH 44240. Please call (330) 346-0100 to make a reservation or click the link in the Travel tab. The last date to secure a room for the weekend will be July 8th.

Is it indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The ceremony will take place outdoors under the venues outdoor chapel while the reception will take place indoors. There will be an outdoor cocktail hour on the patio. The venue is called The Barn at Walnut Drive in Mogadore if you would like to check it out online beforehand!

Is there parking at the venue?

Answer

Yes! There is ample free parking at the venue.

What time will the reception end?
